Natural Hair Product Line Review: Luxju Natural Hair Line

Luxju is a natural hair product line that uses both natural and organic ingredients to create products formulated just for curly hair wearers.

I used these products on several different hair types and textures.

We tested these products on styles such as passion twists and box braid hairstyles.

Today we share our findings, enjoy!

Natural Hair Product Line Review:

The company currently has three products in the line. They were founded in 2018. I would imagine that their plan is continue to expand over time but they already have impressed me.

Something else that I was quite pleased with was the shipping time. They arrived within a few days!

Luxju Nourish Hair Mist

The claim: Our paraben-free mist contains zero mineral oils or petroleum. The mist for curly hair is non-greasy and will leave hair feeling soft, healthy, and conditioned. The all natural and organic formula hydrates, adds sheen and nourishes your curls.

How to use: Spray onto dry hair to moisturize scalp and strands then style as desired. Spray daily to refresh style for best results follow with the nourishing hair creme.

Ingredients: Purified water, aloe vera, green tea, heptylglucoside, gogi better, acai.

Our thoughts: I feel like people often over look leave in sprays. I love them! I found myself reaching for this product several times: as a light conditioning option for rod and roller sets, to cool down the scalp after installing box braids, to condition dreadlocks before re-tightening, this product has a lot of uses!

The price point of $30 for eight ounces may seem a bit steep, but keep in mind that this is an all natural, organic hair product and you'll get what you pay for.

Luxju Nourishing Hair Creme

The claim: Moisturize dry hair with our rich and buttery creme, expertly crafted to melt into the hair and hydrate brittle strands.

An all natural and organic formula that brings moisture to curly hair strands, provides definition, added sheen and strength.

How to use: Apply to damp hair and style or use as daily moisturizer for best results apply creme from the roots to the ends of the hair, use after Nourishing Hair Mist.

Ingredients: Aloe vera, glycerin, extra virgin coconut oil, shea butter, sweet almond oil, lavender oil.

Our Thoughts: I feel like this product does better as a moisturizer for rod sets or two strand twists. I didn't have as much success with this product when it came to long term protective styles, such as box braids or a style that would be up for an extended period of time

At thirty dollars for six ounces, it's at the very top of what I'd be comfortable paying for a hair product. This makes a great product for wash and go wearers!

Luxju Nourishing Frizz Control Oil

The Claim: Control curly, frizzy hair for days with our light and rich fragrant oil. Soften and add sheen to dry, curly hair with our luxury oil, expertly crafted to seal in moisture without leaving hair feeling dry and brittle. The all-natural and organic formula strengthens curly hair strands.

How to Use: Apply to damp or dry hair and style or use to seal in Nourishing Hair Mist and Nourishing Hair Creme from the roots to the ends of the hair.

Ingredients: Castor oil, coconut oil, sesame seed oil, camellia oleifera seed oil.

Our Thoughts: It's no secret that I love hair oils! I found this product to be a little heavy, which is good when dealing with natural hair. Oils can be used as a heat protector and also will seal the moisture into the hair shaft.

Now, the price of $35 for four ounces is a bit steep for my taste, but the product does exactly what it says and is a certified organic hair product, so you may think otherwise.

Four different styles we tested these products on.

Overall, I give this line two thumbs way up. My only real concern with these products are the price point. Although they do exactly what they promise to do, I know there are several natural hair product lines with comparable ingredients/results with a lower price point.

We would like to thank Luxju Naturals for giving us the opportunity to review their wonderful natural hair product line. I have thoroughly enjoyed testing these products out on so many different hair textures and types.
