Cornrows styles with crochet hair make for one cute hair do!
One of my clients wanted a fun cornrows braid hairstyle to rock in Miami.
These cornrows for women incorporate both braids and also crochet hair towards the end to make for one super sexy, cute hair style.
You're gonna love these one as much as we did!
For this style you'll need:
As always, I began with shampooed, conditioned hair. If you plan on leaving braids in for any long length of time, it's beneficial to deep condition first as your hair will appreciate the extra moisture!
For this style I did straight back cornrows, but you can add the crochet hair into any cornrow hairstyle.
You'll want to part out the desired section of hair that you're going to cornrow. We added just a pinch of pre-stretched braiding hair in as we were still on the scalp. Once I'd come off the scalp, I would braid one side of the crochet hair in for about two inches, and then pull the "tail" out so both pieces were hanging out.
For this style, we ended up using an entire pack of crochet hair. For a fuller look, use more; for a less dramatic effect, you'll want to use less crochet hair.
You can also try out different crochet curl patterns. For this particular style, we used Model Model Bohemian curl crochet hair. You can also have fun by experimenting with different hair colors.
This makes a great vacation hair style! "Instagram hair" as it often called. Because of the loose hair, this isn't necessarily the hardiest of hair styles, but it is extremely cute!
We left out quite a bit of a baby hair, but that's optional as well! The downside to baby hair is that it does have to be touched up every few days.
We hope that you've enjoyed this natural hair style tutorial! We've had a lot of fun playing around with different natural hair styles lately.
